Deer, oh dear Christmas decor

Well, better late than never, don’t you feel like sometimes you just are never done!? Oversized Cross-stitch Art

Doing the mantle is both my achilles heel and personal challenge. I was pretty proud of myself for knocking this one out without too many tears last weekend. Not going to lie though, the bulletin board was basically cast into my lap, so the hard/expensive part was done. One of the dealers at Antique plaza got rid of it, I saw it and scooped it up out of the alley. Our new addition

It was a pretty normal day, October 22nd. I woke up, went to work and had a pretty typical work day. But lo and behold I came home that night and was greeted by this little guy. A puppy! A corgi puppy of course. Nick had picked him up that day and surprised me with him that evening. (you can see how pleased lilu is about it) His name is Ein (like Einstein) we named him after the corgi on Cowboy Bebop (A Japanese Anime show.)
