3 years ago today…

Nick and I drove to Superior to bring home this little bundle of fluff.

We had just started looking for a corgi puppies in the classifieds and an ad came up for a red female 5 week old puppy. We jumped on it and brought her home the next day. While we were at the breeder’s house, the owner (a 60ish gentleman) was watching the Fifth Element while we were playing with her. In the middle of it he turns to us and says ” you know, I’ve seen this movie 3 times and I still don’t know what the Hell it’s about.” Too funny, so when we were driving home, We started talking about names and Lilu just seemed so fitting. A perfect orange haired quirky beauty :) of course to be accurate her whole name should be Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat

She was full of attitude right from the beginning.

But we loved her, how could you not love this little face!!

She was like a little stuffed animal come to life! (my family continually took pictures of her next to things so we could see exactly how small she used to be)

Proportional ears and legs are so over-rated!!

She hated walking so much at first!! Now it’s her favorite thing.

So glad you are in our lives Lilu, I hope you have relished all the attention we’ve given you these 3 years, one day you’ll have to share our affections but until then!
