My v-Day

Hope everyone’s Valentine’s Day was fantastic. We had a great evening, Nick made a great Filet Mignon, broccoli and Potatoes Au Gratin….and I set the table

We have 2 Settings of Kate Spade Dogwood plates that I’m always nervous to use, but I broke them out, along with some vintage green plates that my partner in crime E gave me!

Nick got me the roses, 12 to be exact :) I have alway wanted to arrange them this way and finally did it! Then the next day I read this post from Karen (one of my all time favorite bloggers, she’s hilarious)

It was actually easy but I attribute that to having the right size of bowl, I made sure to cut them all the same length and then I lined the inside edges with the leaves

After Dinner we were off the see the King’s speech (more on that later)

I had this great idea to take my ampersand off the wall, it turned out cheesy, no thanks to Nick’s attitude

Happy Valentine’s Day, its great to spend a day with someone you love!
